The Gateway is a single portal to manage licenses, permits and registrations associated with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. It grants access to printable documents, change of address, online applications and many more features. The Gateway is used to submit all license, permit and registration applications. Under License Options , click the rectangle entitled Renewal . Follow the prompts to renew. To print your 2025 certificate, click on HOME, at the top of the page, and scroll down to Licenses & Certificates . Upon completion of the renewal, a receipt will be automatically emailed to the address on the payment page. Enter in the 5 digit permit number. Enter in the password (last 4 digits of the permit number). Once logged in, click on Renew Permit . Follow the prompts to renew. Once complete, scroll down to the EXIT button which will take you back to the management page. To print the 2025 permit certificate, scroll down to Options , and click on Print Annual Certificate .
